Born in Fresno, California. Parents are Peter and Cindy Kuest, has one younger brother. Father played soccer at Fresno State. He is majoring in Exercise and Wellness. Enjoys fishing, skiing and listening to music. Was a three-time letter winner while at Clovis West HS. Named a Fresno Bee All-Star twice, won two events on the Future Collegians World Tour.
