PERSONAL
Born Sept. 6, 1997. Son of Dan and Ellen Kinney, finance major. Grandfather lettered in tennis at Iowa State, great grandfather Harrold Smith was a two-year letterman in football at Iowa State (1922-23) and was teammates with Jack Trice. One of the top preps in Iowa throughout his high school career. Named 2015 Class 4A Player of the year and selected to the Des Moines Register’s All-Iowa boy’s golf team (2016). Helped lead Waukee to team state titles in 2014 and 2015.
