Enjoyed a solid debut season in Aggieland, posting a 73.03 stroke average in 31 rounds while notching 14 rounds at par or lower … carded two top-10 finishes in 10 events on the year … made his collegiate debut at the season-opening Badger Invitational … notched his first career top-10 showing with a sixth place showing at the Louisiana Classic … tied atop the player leaderboard at the Aggie Invitational (211,-5) to earn his first career victory … was named SEC Freshman of the Week following his win at the Aggie Invite … finished tied for 32nd at the NCAA Bryan Regional (221, +5) … posted a tie for 41st at the NCAA Championship (296, +8) to help that Aggies advance to match play.

Junior Golf Scoreboard rankings regarded Lee as the No. 2 player in the state of Texas as well as the No. 18 player nationally … named a 2016 All-American by the American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) … member of the 2015 Jackie Burke Cup Team … earned medalist honors at the 2016 PGA Junior Series Championship at The Air Force Academy … individual champion at the 2013 AJGA Harvey Penick Invitational and was the runner-up at both the 2013 AJGA David Toms Invitational and 2015 AJGA Patrick Reed Invitational … carded eight wins on the Texas Junior Golf Tour and two on the Texas Legends Junior Golf Tour … holds three course records [Champions Golf Club – Cypress Creek (Houston, TX), Eisenhower Golf Club (Colorado Springs, CO) – 63 and Owatonna Country Club (Owatonna, MN) – 64].

Walker Lee is the son of Randy and Kristen Lee … both parents attended Texas A&M, Randy class of `90 and Kristen class of `93 … has two sisters, Georgia and Rivers … his father as well as two uncles, Jackie and Scott, played golf at Texas A&M for head coach Bob Ellis.
