2017-18 (Sophomore)
Earned Honorable Mention PING All-America honors as he became a key part of the Aggie lineup during his sophomore campaign … garnered honorable mention PING All-America as well as All-Central region honors from the Golf Coaches Association of America … has played in 12 events, compiling a 71.84 scoring average with 20 rounds of par or lower during 37 total rounds … has notched six top-10 finishes … produced his first career top-10 placing with a tie for ninth at the OFCC Fighting Illini Invitational (201, E) in mid-September … returned to the top-10 with a share of seventh at the John Burns Intercollegiate (212, -4) to tee off the spring semester … began a string of three consecutive top-10 finishes with a tie for seventh at the General Hackler Championship (213, -3) that was followed by ninth-place showings at the both the Valspar Collegiate (212, -1) and the Aggie Innovational (219, +3) … finished in a tie for 36th at the SEC Championship (217, +7) … was the hunt for medalist honors throughout the NCAA Bryan Regional (206, -10) before ultimately finishing in a tie for second, one stroke of the lead … stood out as the highest-placing Aggie during stroke play at the NCAA Championship (287, -1) where he finished tied for 11th to help A&M advance to match play.

2016-17 (RS Freshman)
Stepped up for the Aggies during his second season in the program, appearing in seven events while producing a 74.53 scoring average in 19 rounds of competition … carded six rounds of par or lower … after seeing action as an individual in three tournaments moved into the A&M lineup for the season’s final four events … highest finish came during the rain-shortened Aggie Invitational (146, +2) where he was 19th … helped the Aggies advance to the finals of the SEC Championship with a tie for 23rd during stroke play at the SEC Championship (213, +3) … his run at the SEC Championship featured a season-low 68 during the second round … finished in a tie for 56th at the NCAA Sammamish Regional (229, +16).

2015-16 (Freshman)
Did not see action during his first season in Aggieland.

Attended Frisco High School where he lettered all four years … earned all-district honors four times, all-regional twice, and all-state once … the only three-time Frisco golf district champion … holds the lowest round in FISD history and the lowest round by a freshman … won 14 tournaments and finished 11th and 13th in the state tournament … a two-time Frisco Athlete of the Month with a low round of 64 … won the Legends Junior Tour 2013 Boys Player of the Year honors … finished second at the Junior Byron Nelson in 2013 … two-time VA Hunter Mahan Championship winner … qualified for the Texas Amateur Championship for four consecutive years … academic honors include 2012 Algebra Student of the Year and 2014 Physics Student of the Year.

Brandon Alexander Smith was born on May 20, 1997, in Dallas, Texas, to parents Bruce and Kathleen Smith … brother to Parker and Kennedy Smith … introduced to golf by his father, Bruce, a golf pro, who qualified for the 2004 and 2010 PGA Championship and was the 2001 NTPGA Player of the Year … hopes to one day turn pro and play on Web.com or PGA Tour … enjoys fishing and drawing.
