Took second place individually at the Hawkeye Invitational, where the Red Raiders won the team title … Long’s first-round 67 was his low round of the season … his performance in Iowa earned him a spot in the postseason lineup, and he tied for 34th at the NCAA College Grove Regional … played a total of six rounds over the fall campaign… Secured a spot in the top 25 at The Carmel Cup by tying for 22nd, finishing with a two-under 214 … Shot a 69 out at Pebble Beach, which was his low round of the fall.

2015-16
Led the Red Raiders in rounds played (36), par or better rounds (18) and had the team’s lowest round of the season, a 66 in the second round at the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate … Notched two top-five finishes in his sophomore campaign … logged top-30 finishes in all but two tournaments … played some of his best golf at the end of the season, starting with a third-place finish (+1) at the El Macero Classic … at the Big 12 Championships, Long stumbled out of the gate with an 84 in the opening round, but rebounded to go 71-69-71 and move all the way into 16th place … Long wrapped up his season with a 30th-place finish at the Albuquerque Regional … during the summer, Long won the German International Amateur title in a three-way playoff.

2014-15 (OREGON)
Started in the Oregon lineup in each of his first four collegiate tournaments … finished in a tie for 27th at the Husky Invitational in his collegiate debut with a 7-over 223 … followed up with a T23 finish at the Itani Homes Collegiate … captured his first top-10 finish at the Nike Golf Collegiate Invitational, tying for seventh with a 4-over 214 showing helping Oregon clinch the team victory as well … tied for 11th at the Ka’anapli Classic with a 2-under 211 card … was a part of the Duck squad that fired in an NCAA record breaking 30-under 254 opening round score … fired in an 8-over 224 at the Amer Ari Invitational as an individual.

HIGH SCHOOL
A member of the Germany Junior National Team …won the Doral Publix Junior title Christmas with a final card of 73-71-70—214 at the Trump National Doral Golf Club in Miami, Fla, in 2013 … was also a top honors at the Faldo German U18 Championships (2012), BWGV AK16 (2012), BWGV AK18 (2013) and twice at the Heidelberg Open (2011, 2013) … took second at the European Men’s Team Championships (68-66—134) … came in sixth for the Lythem Trophy at the Royal Lytham & St. Annes Golf Club (69-69-71-77—286).
